Promoting the profession of agripreneur : key to the revival of the agricultural sector in D.R. Congo

Abstract
Despite its immense agricultural potential (arable land, rivers, climate, etc.), the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) remains a poor country. Unemployment among young people in rural areas, with or without qualifications, is as high as 80%. Yet agriculture could employ over 60% of the population and contribute to the country's food security. This agriculture must be professional, which is where the agripreneur concept comes from. The agripreneur profession can only succeed if technical and financial support structures are put in place. That's what this article is about.
